Advanced Inspection Technologies now offers robotic pipe inspection cameras for rent. The ROVVER brand is a compact and easy to use system than can navigate long indutrial pipelines and hazardous environments. The robotic pipe crawler camera system can navigate line as small as 4 inches and larger. The Rovver also can be steered to assist in making turns and best position the pipe camera system. The operator can also operate a remotely controlled pan and tilt camera to offer great view of the inspection area. The ROVVER is able to inspect pipelines as long as 650 ft. AIT is offering this powerful inspection solutuion throughout North America.

Advanced Inspection Technologies just completed a video borescope rental with a customer that needed to inspect several fuel nozzle covers they manufacture. Fuel nozzle covers have several chanels and piped ourlet that require unobstructed flow. The passageways need to be free of any debris following milling. Typically, fuel nozzle cover manufacturers will wash and rinse the interior passageways to remove any foreign debris that may have accumulated. A video borescope rental allows remote viewing of these interior passages to check for any shavings or burrs. AIT rented a high resolution video borescope to a manufacturer to inspect their fuel nozzle covers prior to delivery.

AIT has successfully rented a small diameter fiberscope for the inspection of inside gas turbine components. The customer is one of the largest and well know manufacturers of turbines world wide and need a method to visually inspect an area where their existing video borescope could not fit. The manufacturer then contacted AIT for help. AIT was able to respond immeadiately and provided the small diameter fiberscope rental that same day. AIT had a 2.4mm flexible fiberscope transported to the customer via a courier to meet the emergency requirement. AIT has the largest selection of fiberscope rental equipment world wide and is able to respond quickly to any demand.

Advanced Inspection Technologies just completed a rental of a video borescope for the inspection of boiler tubes at an electric power generation plant. The power plant was a HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generation) configuration and needed to inspect their boiler tubes for condition. AIT was selected for the video borescope rental due to our speedy service and large selection of a quality borescope rental equipment. The cistomer was able to successfully inspect all required boiler tubes and record the entire inspection on to a standard SD card for later review. AIT recently rented a videoscope to inspect the inside of an industrial ice machine. The machine had broken down and the ice manufacturer need to identify the problem to take preventative measures with other machines. A 3 meter (10 ft) long videoscope was used to snake down the piping and discovered a large tear in the side wall. The manufacturer now knows the location of the damage and will be better able to prevent this type of damage to their other equipment thanks to the videoscope rental from AIT.

AIT provided a videoscope rental for inspections at a powder activated carbon manufactuing facility. The videoscope was provided for an emergency inspection and required immeadiate delivery. AIT was able provide the fastest videoscope rental service through the use of a courier to get the equipment to the distant facility. Advanced inspection Technologies just completed a borescope rental with a well known manufacturer in the nuclear power industry for inspection of heat echanger tubes. AIT was contacted to provide a borescope that was small enough to fit inside a 1/2 inch diameter heat exchanger tube. A 90 degree side view tip adapter was included with the borescope rental to give the ability to see the side wall of the tubes. Fast delivery of the borescope rental was another reason why AIT was chosen to provide equipment for a critical inspection.

Today AIT rented a videoscope to inspect industrial meters. Industrial meters measure and control the flow of liquids, including water, oil and chemicals. It is critical that there are no defects that may cause inaccurate readings or operation of these meters. AIT rented a videoscope to allow inspection inside the confined space of these meters.
