The customer needed to inspect the gears and internal components of the gear box for wear. They rented a 6.0 millimeter diameter borescope from AIT to accomplish the inspection. The customer chose AIT to rent from due to their large inventory of premium borescope instuments, fast delivery and knowledable staff. A borescope rental was decided due to the cost savings versus owning.
